The Exploration Station (805) 473-1421 (c) 2008 Web Site Design By |
The Exploration Station relies on the generous help of our community members and businesses to meet our financial needs for programs, classes and operating expenses. As a non-profit community services center, we provide most of our services at a low-cost or no-cost basis to allow local families to take advantage of the many benifits that the Exploration Station has to offer. You Can Help! Your donation of money, services, or goods will go a long way to help us achieve our goals. Any size donation is greatly appreciated! We offer several way for you to help: Direct cash donations... We can accept your cash, check, Visa/Master Card donation to be used for our general fund - or if you wish - we can allocate your donation to a particular program of your choice. Stock Transfers... Stock transfers to the Exploration Station allow you to give stocks & securities to us while avoiding the capital gains tax that would otherwise be incurred on their sale. This is a great way to make a generous contribution while also reaping the tax benifits. Endowment fund... Give the gift that will keep on giving! By making a donation to the Exploration Station Endowment Fund, you will know you have given a special gift that you will be remembered by for years to come through it's investment income. Services... The Exploration Station is always in need of services required for the upkeep and operating of our facility. If you have a service that you believe we could use, please contact us. Goods... We are often in need of goods that are used for our programs and/or the operation & maintenance of our facility. Please contact us if you have items that you believe we might be interested in. |
